Yes, that's the normal case for us. You build your app with an AI tool like Lovable, Cursor or Claude Code and send it to us. Everything that comes after (server, domain, certificates, updates, backups) we take care of. If you'd like help building it too, we can do that, but we'll agree on the effort first.
For teams with their own developers who want full control over their infrastructure. If you need Kubernetes, your own network rules, or operation across several clouds, our sister company JBOD is the better fit. For a plain marketing website we're overkill too; a simple website builder is enough for that. Atoll is worth it when an app handles real data and someone has to stand behind it.
Before every release we automatically check for known vulnerabilities in the libraries you use, passwords and keys accidentally left in the code, endpoints left open without access control, and more. If something turns up, the change doesn't go live and you get a clear message about what to do.
In JBOD AG's data centre in Bern, Switzerland. Your data never leaves the country and is subject to Swiss law. Backups are kept in Switzerland too. JBOD AG is part of our group of companies. More on that here.
Yes, completely. You can export it and take it with you any time: your app, its database and its files. On request we'll send you a full export.
A typical example: an application with a test and production environment, two administrators and 5 GB of storage costs 270 CHF per month. The calculator above shows your number. Support is optional, and so is AI assistance from KAI.
KAI is an AI assistant that writes code. It can pick up reported bugs and requests and work out a proposed solution. That proposal always lands in your test environment first. Nothing goes live before you've looked at it and approved it. KAI cannot change your running application.
Once your application is ready: 15 minutes for the first test environment, and live any time after that with your approval. You only need a first call if you want one.

The Eutima or JBOD team supports you. Without a support contract we bill by time and effort. With a support contract you get fixed hours and response times.
Atoll is built by Eutima AG in Bern and runs on JBOD AG's platform. We build software for Swiss companies, among them KYDO (document management) and PINIT for hospitality accounting. Atoll came from something we kept seeing: more and more people build genuinely useful apps with AI tools, and then get stuck on how to put the thing online safely and keep it there. That part we've been doing for years. Now you can just book it.
