Set up a project from an empty folder and connect Claude Desktop, in about five minutes. Sample names and values are made up; prompts and messages match the CLI.
This is an animation built from the CLI source, not a recording. Git for Windows must already be installed: the CLI cannot install git on Windows by itself.
Create a project folder in File Explorer, then open a terminal inside it from the address bar.
Install Node.js (version 18 or newer) with winget, then open a new terminal so it is on your PATH.
No winget? Download the LTS installer from nodejs.org, run it with the default options, and reopen your terminal.
No global install needed: npx downloads and runs the Atoll CLI on demand.
npx comes with Node.js. The first run asks to download the package; type y. Later runs reuse the cached copy.
You need Node.js 18+, Git for Windows, and a GitHub account. Claude Desktop is installed for you if missing.
Run the CLI with npx init in your empty project folder. It checks git and sets a credential helper so GitHub remembers you.
npx @eutima/atoll-cli init handles git, Claude Desktop, login, repository and deployment setup.
Claude Code does not run natively on Windows, so the CLI offers to install Claude Desktop with winget.
No winget? The CLI points you to claude.ai/download.
Choose Log in. Your browser opens to authorize the CLI, and a token is stored locally.
Sign in with your password and MFA, then approve.

Each playbook describes how your app is built and run. Templates come with a working starter app and an MCP config.
The CLI opens GitHub's new-repository page with the name filled in. Create it, come back, press Enter.

Name Production, branch main. Atoll suggests a free subdomain and registers it for you - press Enter to accept it, with no DNS work of your own.
Prefer a domain you already own? Type it instead - then you point a CNAME at the gateway yourself.
Restart Claude Desktop, click the Code icon, open the folder from step 1, and type: connect to atoll mcp
